Curacao | 2011 | Jan Thiel Beach | Architect: Henk Bolivar | Interior design: LOT1038

Early 2011, Zest was the 2nd beach club to open @ the Jan Thiel area. A natural feeling with a touch of 50/60/70ties vintage looks makes Zest a different but warm and cozy restaurant. At the aqua blue bar we placed cream‐colored leather barstools from Pedrali. The walls are decorated with the gorgeous small gold version of the Caboche from Foscarini, designed by Patricia Urquiola. Above the long table we used the 70cm suspension version of the Caboche, also in gold. We created indoor several sized seats en benches the DWI from Linteloo and we dressed them up with Sunbrella fabrics. The organic shaped tables in white are called Shu, also from Linteloo designed by Roderick Vos. On the terrace we placed the Vintage chair from Tribu, the legs are stainless steel 304L and are electro polished. The seat shell is produced in high‐grade plastic with 15% glass fiber in the color “Desert”. The chair is inspired from the 70ties; Bram Bollen is the designer of this fresh and playful chair.
