This old villa “landhuis” is in a really perfect condition. The beautiful yellow color of its skin gives it an ancient charisma. Once you enter the villa and see the various rooms you feel the warm and tender breeze of old Curacao. On the first floor we decorated the room with a white and blue carpet designed by Marcel Wanders for Moooi, combined with the white Linteloo sofa’s and white “Shu” coffee tables decorated with the Delft’s blue vases: a mind blowing set. Even more Moooi lighting; 2 Kaipo table lights in silver and 1 light shade shade floor lamp. Outdoor and in the kitchen we used various Piet Hein Eek products. Piet Hein Eek is the originator and godfather of the scrap wood and recycling furniture. The oval high gloss lacquered scrap wood “Canteentable” is combined with the white Toy chairs from Philippe Starck for Driade on the terrace. The dining table, benches are for Piet Hein Eek as well, just like the 5 columns aluminum “Philips cabinet”, named after the source of the glass in the cabinet. Knowing Piet Hein Eek, of course all recycling material from finest.
