The biggest and most popular beach of Curacao Seaquarium Beach is hosting The Beach House building, on the ground floor is the location of the newest lunch & dine hotspot restaurant/bar & pool “New York”. They opened their doors June 2013. The restaurant has a cosy & stylish bar where you can relax and enjoy one of the specialty drinks or watch live sport games. The restaurant offers you a varied steak house flavored menu, the chefs only used fresh and the best kind of meat products.

For the restaurant New York we used a lot of natural materials and a colour pallet with the colours red, gold and purple in a velvet fabric. These colors are special and warm, for the cosy feeling, and they also give the restaurant a funky bite. Next to the colors we created several seats; high, low, on the sofa, at the bar or on the terrace. To all liking. We placed the „Leo” soft leather bar stools from Lapalma, the chairs are covered with Designers Guild velvet fabrics, the frame is in the color wengé, the custom made sofa is also decorated with Designers Guild velvet fabrics. The lighting is special, every light in the restaurant has his own identity.The lighting above the bar named Can Can from Flos in Black & Gold designed by Marcel Wander, on the ceiling we placed Vela lighting, from Slamp, on the walls we installed the Tivu small in black from Foscarini. The gadget, “the swing”, it is a real swing but it’s placed just for fun. The swing is produced by the Italian company Slide, with LED-lighting.
